What I built

Photograph or search for packaging or an object to receive guidance based on observable information and reviewed waste-sorting criteria. After releasing the iOS app, the same cautious decision flow was brought to Android and a web demo.

  1. A cautious classification flow

    Structured the decision flow so OCR and image observations are not immediately presented as definitive answers.

  2. Connecting disposal criteria

    Connected reviewed waste-sorting criteria and guidance to check local rules through local data.

  3. App release and web demo

    Released the iOS app and made the same scan and search flow available to try on the web.

  4. Android port and local verification

    Built an Android version with CameraX, ML Kit, and Firebase, and checked its build, tests, and emulator flow.
