What I built
Record the ingredients in your fridge, check their use-by dates, and find recipes you can make with what you have. Purchase recognition, AI recommendations, and a community have been added, while the iOS and Android experiences are being aligned.
History
- Starting with the fridge and recipes
Built the basic flows for ingredients, use-by dates, recipes, and shopping notes.
- Purchase recognition and AI recommendations
Connected receipt OCR, use-by date estimates, and ingredient-based recommendations with safe fallback paths.
- Verifying an Android release candidate
Checked signed artifacts, real Google sign-in and Firebase data, and key tests. Verification of the Play-installed app and external configuration is still pending.
- Refining Android startup screens
Organized launcher and startup screen assets. The final bundle still needs to be rebuilt from the subsequently changed source and the installed app checked.
